  • by

The Lithuanian College of Democracy, which implements civic and democratic projects, together with Swedish open learning experts – Ossiannilsson Quality in Open Online Learning (QOOL) Consultancy, invite schools to present their good practices and innovations in the digital field. This opportunity allows schools to demonstrate different innovative aspects in the digital field, such as new teaching or learning methods, technology utilization, virtual or adapted teaching aids, electronic communication tools, and more.

You are invited to participate by sharing your good practices and innovative ideas in the digital field. Please fill out the form by July 1, 2023. This initiative is a part of the international bilateral project called “Digital Inclusion of All Learners” (DI4All), which is funded by the Erasmus+ program, the project number is 2021-2-SE01-KA210-SCH-000050728.

The authors of the selected good practices, along with their teams, will be awarded certificates of appreciation and prizes generously sponsored by our partners. The winners of the DI4All competition will be chosen by a panel of esteemed experts in the fields of education and digital inclusion.

The most exciting school practices and digital innovations will be summarized in international publications. Furthermore, a practical guide based on these examples will be created, offering valuable insights and recommendations for educators looking to enhance their digital approaches.

“We invite you to join us in making a positive impact on education and ensuring equal access to digital resources for all learners,” says Dr. Ebba Ossiannilsson, an open learning expert. “By sharing your success stories, you will not only inspire others but also contribute to the creation of an inclusive learning environment that benefits everyone.”

According to Dr. Eglė Celiešienė, a researcher at the Lithuanian College of Democracy, this competition presents a wonderful opportunity to become part of an inspiring community. It provides a platform to share ideas, learn from others, and collectively work towards the shared objective of fostering digital inclusion.

“We highly appreciate originality, innovation, relevance, impact, and effective implementation of initiatives. Whether you have introduced new technologies, embraced inclusive teaching methods, or forged digital access partnerships, we eagerly await your submissions!” assures E. Celiešienė.

The DI4All project strives to enhance the overall competencies, skills, and learning outcomes of young learners in schools, while promoting the advancement of teaching quality, innovation, and digital inclusion in education. Additionally, the project aims to bolster the competencies of educators by fostering digital inclusion in education and addressing the issue of misinformation through teacher education and learning.

The project has several expected outcomes, including the development of a training program for trainers focused on implementing digital inclusion. This program will be created based on an analysis of successful practices from teachers and trainers in the field. Additionally, a comprehensive guide for educators, along with project-specific intellectual materials, will be prepared. The project will also involve research on best practices and case studies related to digital inclusion. Lastly, a final seminar will be conducted to disseminate the project’s findings and insights.
