Training sessions of project “Promotion of Sustainable Development by Strengthening the Social Clustering in Public Sector” have successfully been launched on November 14th – 18th in Norway and November 28th – 29th in Lithuania.
The main objectives of the project-related training sessions are to develop skills and social cluster competencies; improve welfare state policy implementation in the project partner institutions by developing public and administrative capacity; ensure public transparency, relevant to implementation of welfare policy by developing and implementing innovative anti-corruption means at local and regional level.
The participants were welcomed by Deputy Director of Professional Competence Development Institute and Project Manager Assoc. Prof. Angelė Kaušylienė, Director of Vilnius College of Design and Project Coordinator Aldis Fledžinskas and Torhild Slåtto, Director of Flexible Education, project partner in Norway.
The training activities on topics „Corruption in Lithuania and on the Global Level” and „Anti-corruption Measures and Prevention” were conducted by Paulius Murauskas and Milda Meidienė, representatives of Transparency International Lithuania and Vaidotas Jakštas, representative of Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences.
All the training programmes have been approved by Director of Professional Competence Development Institute under Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences. Moreover, every project participant will be awarded a Training Certificate.
It is planned to organize 24 Training sessions during the project, out of which 12 sessions will be conducted in Norway and 12 sessions will be run in Lithuania.
The Training sessions are part of Lithuanian University of Educational Sciences-administrated project “Promotion of Sustainable Development by Strengthening the Social Clustering in Public Sector”.
